Bamidele Jermaine Alli, better known as Dele Alli, is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the England national team.
Alli was born in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, to a Yoruba Nigerian father Kehinde and English mother Denise. At the age of nine, Alli moved to Nigeria with his father, where he spent some years in an International School.
His multi-millionaire father Kehinde, moved to the United States a week after Alli's birth, though he was periodically involved in Alli's adolescent years.
In the summer of 2016, Dele elected to stop wearing the name "Alli" on his match shirts because he felt no connection with the Alli family name, instead opting for 'Dele'.
He will be representing England in the FIFA WORLD CUP ⚽
