Basics | Bookmakers

Thousands of bookmakers around the world. But selecting the ones who suits your style of play can be vital in the process. Each bookmaker has his pros and contras and in this article I will tell you which ones I will use and why this is.

I won’t be discussing the different types of bookmakers, for that I can advice you to read this article by @costanza. But I would like to explain which bookies I’ll be using and why I choose those. I will also provide a small summary on how I divide my bankroll at those bookmakers.

Sportmarket

Sportmarket is a multi accounting bookmaker, who provides the odds of Pinnacle, ISN, IBC, sing, Matchbook, Betfair and SBObet at the same time, as showed on the image below. It’s a must have bookmaker if you mostly bet asian lines like I do. They offer all games these single bookmakers offer. The sports they offer are Football, Basketball, Tennis, Rugby, American Football, Baseball, Boxing, MMA, Cricket and Ice Hockey.
This is the bookmaker I will use 90% of the time. They offer most of the sports and leagues I will cover and they offer the best rates and types of bets I will be playing. Because they offer multiple bookmakers at once this bookmaker is a perfect suit for those who play live.

Pinnacle

IMO the best single bookmaker there is. Great odds, big limits and a great offer of sports and events. I’ll be using this bookmaker mostly for sports that aren’t offered on Sportmarket, for example E-sports, Cycling, Volleybal and Handball.

Euro bookmakers

These type of bookmakers like to limit winning players and when providing asian lines their odds are less good than asian bookmakers. But in most cases they offer more games and more types of bets, like “both teams to score”. 95% of my bets will be taken at Sportmarket or Pinnacle but in some rare cases I’ll be needing these bookmakers. I have accounts at Unibet, Betfirst, Bwin, Betway and Ladbrokes. Like I said before in my introduction, there were some changes in my personal life and one of them was buying a house with my girlfriend. This gave me a new IP adress and the ID of my girlfriend, so I have fresh accounts on these bookmakers where I can clear some bonusses too.

Nitrogen Sports

This a blockchain bookmaker. I’m not using this too often as they provide the same lines as Pinnacle but some more juice. But I see this account as a “double” investment.

E-Wallets

I’ll be using both Skrill and Neteller. It’s the easiest and fastest way to deposit and withdraw.

How do I divide my bankroll?

Most of my money will be on Sportmarket as this is the bookie I’ll be using 90% of the time. Also I like to keep a decent amount in my e-wallet because a bad run can always occur and I like to be able to deposit quick.

• Sportmarket 40%
• Pinnacle 10%
• Euro books 15%
• Nitrogen Sports 10%
• E-Wallet 25%

Feel free to ask questions or let me know which bookmakers you use

@inittowinit your Basics series is excellent, keep it up!

Thanks mate! Will do my best ;-)

Good overview. Have you tried any crypto sportsbooks?

Thought Pinnacle kinda died when biz was sold years ago, no?

So far I haven't used any crypto sportsbook. At this moment none of them can offer what I'm searching in a bookie. But it will be intersting to see how things develop with Wagerr, but it's very early days for them.

Pinnacle still have the best odds out there for asian lines and they offer a wide range of sports and events. Limits are also very good and they won't limit winning players. IMO they are still very alive and kicking ;-). Do you have any reason to believe they kinda died?
