POSSIBLY THE BEST ROUND OF DISC GOLF EVER

On July 7th, 2018 Paul McBeth shot an 18 under at the Great Lakes open in Milford Michigan.. It has been called one of the best rounds of disc golf ever shot! With the previous course best being 11 under McBeth AKA McBeast blew it out of the water with his performance. I am happy to just par a hole. To watch how much control McBeast has over he's Disc is something I strive to learn.

Paul McBeth was born in 1990 and began his professional disc golf career in 2008. He was awarded the male Rookie of the Year from the Professional Disc Golf Association and brought home a net winning of $11,852. Through 2016 McBeast has made over $290,000 in earnings playing disc golf. He's also landed sponsorships and endorsements from companies like INNOVA DISC GOLF.

In the video below McBeth does a breakdown of his Historic -18 round at the Great Lakes open. What stuck with me the most about his commentary was his talk about the focus he had “in the moment”. Putting all his Focus and Energy into one shot at a time. Even though he realized he was doing great things on the disc golf course, at the moment he was only focusing on each shot and how he can improve on the next one.

If you've ever played Sports you know the laser focus that Macbeth is talking about. It's a feeling of NOTHING else in the universe mattering beside what you are about to accomplish at this very moment. Putting your knowledge, skill and determination into a single moment to accomplish something great. To be able to do that over and over again is remarkable and a true professional of their trade.
