Which teams do you think would reach the Quarter finals of the 2018 Football World Cup?
The Knockage stage of the Football World Cup 2018, started with a bang yesterday, with two entertaining matches. In the first match, France knocked out Argentina while in the next match, Uruguay edged out Portugal, despite having much less possession compared to Portugal.
So, at this moment, it is confirmed that the first Quarter final would be between France and Uruguay. The schedule of other Round of 16 matches, and all the knockout stages, along with the final and third place matches, can be seen in the figure below.
I predict that the 2nd Quarter final would be between Brazil and Belgium, while the 3rd Quarter final would be between Russia and Croatia. You would be surprised why I chose Russia, but I think they are quite a dangerous side and have that big advantage of playing at home. Lastly, I predict the 4th Quarter final to be between Switzerland and Colombia.
I would also like to know about your predictions. So, let them be known through your comments.
Who would have thought that Spain would lose from Russia.

Spain vs Croatia 3rd
Switzerland vs England 4th
My choices are:
Mexico - Belgium
Spain - Croatia (although I would love Russia to beat Spain)
Sweden - Colombia
I predict some major surprises will happen so it will be interesting to see the remaining matches unravel!
