Broncos punter awkwardly hits on Aaron Rodgers girlfriend
There's a code of conduct. New Denver Broncos punter Marquette King clearly crossed that line Friday evening in hitting up Aaron Rodgers girlfriend, Danica Patrick, on Twitter.
The story goes a little something like this. While Patrick and Rodgers were on hand to watch the Milwaukee Bucks play Boston in Game 3 of the playoffs, King figured it made sense to shoot his shot with Danica.
It was an air ball.

At about that very same time, Rodgers was being introduced as a minority owner of the Bucks.
But hey, he's not a punter. Apparently punters do everything better, right?
For his part, King was recently released by the Oakland Raiders after a reported personality clash with new head coach Jon Gruden. He quickly signed with the division rival Denver Broncos to show his former team up.
Though, the All-Pro punter can't be making himself any real friends here. Rodgers is one of the faces of the NFL. Patrick herself has been one of the most popular race car drivers in the world. Their romantic relationship has not necessarily been too private.
I guess it beats King sliding into Danica's DMs behind Rodgers' back. No one needs the drama that would have been created with that.
