The champions league continues to show it's high class by featuring matches that are very tough and exciting to watch, yesterday's fixtures was no different as we saw two different games end on a goalless draw.
Liverpoal and Bayern Munich both fought hard in the first leg of their champions league last-16 tie at Anfield on Tuesday.
Liverpool failed to stamp their authority on a battling Bayern Munich as a 0-0 first-leg draw at Anfield left their Champions League last-16 tie in the balance. Jurgen Klopp, robbed of Virgil van Dijk and Dejan Lovren through suspension and injury, will at least be pleased with the way his back four navigated the rare instances of danger posed to them by the German champions, the lack of Roberto Firminho's presence at the attack was crucial and the central defence surfered a nervy start. Mohammed Salah's poor touch scuppered a promising liverpool break early in the first half.
Although it ended goalless it still proved to be an interesting match.
