Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro, is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a striker and is considered one of the best strikers in the world of football. He was born in Funchal, Madeira on February 5, 1985 and is the son of María Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. Since he was a child he always showed his good performance in football and stood out for his skill with the ball.

His beginnings were at the age of 8 when he entered La Andorinha soccer school and where he quickly began to excel above the peers of his age. So much was the quality that showed Cristiano, that at the age of 10 years the clubs C. S. Marítimo and C. D. Nacional showed interest in having the young player.
