Next week's Bills vs. Chiefs game may end up saying a lot about the rest of the season.
The Chiefs are still undefeated. The Bills are 8-2.
Aside from a couple of games, the Bills have been playing better football. Josh Allen has been playing better football than Mahomes.
In some ways, this week's games were similar -- they were both games that the Bills and the Chiefs should have won. The Chiefs won by the skin of their teeth. The Bills dominated the entire second half.
Remember, a few years ago, the Steelers were undefeated though eleven games before crashing to the ground. That could happen to the Chiefs; or, the Chiefs could be the first team since the league expanded to sixteen games to go undefeated all the way through the Super Bowl, or anything in-between.
If the Bills win the games that we're supposed to win, and lose the games that are supposed to be rough, we'd finish the season with a 13-4 record.
Obviously, I'm hoping had the Chiefs' collapse will start next weekend.
