Sadam Ali spoils Miguel Cotto's retirement party by winning a shock unanimous decision to capture Miguel Cotto's WBO super welterweight title. This was supposed to have been an easy farewell fight but it turned into anything but. Sadam Ali boxed an excellent fight which resulted in Cotto looking all of his 37 years of age. Sadam Ali will now have to fight his WBO mandatory challenger Liam Smith. As for Miguel Cotto, he now heads of into retirement leaving behind a hall of fame career in which he was a 4 weight world champion. Cotto also fought the very best including names such as Floyd Mayweather, Antonio Margarito, Shane Mosley, Sergio Martinez, Zab Judah and Manny Pacquaio.
