In the first part of the third round in the competition being played last night, there were big wins for some of the underdogs expecially for those that played in the lower leagues.
Among all is the most surprising defeat of manchester united in the front of their home fans. The funny part was that all the underdogs came from behind to seal their wins in the second half.

Man utd and burnley are the two top flight teams in the competition to be knocked out. While bournemouth, fulham, leicester city and man city all recorded wins as expected.

Spurs had the chance to get their revenge on watford after losing to them in the league few weeks ago. Tho, it wasn't an easy one for spurs. Despite watford being reduced to 10 men they ensured that the match had to be decided on penalty. Watford really put up a good performance tho, and it was nice seeing Dele Alli taking the leadership role when Kane was not their.

The biggest one in the round was Liverpool vs Chelsea. The match was really an entertaning one, both sides had chances to win the game but in the end it was chelsea who came out victorious. Chelsea needed their Belgium maestro to come off the bench to secure their victory.
Liverpool will have their chance to revenge against chelsea when the two sides meet this saturday in the league.
