New or Used?

HI friends,

My son has enjoyed playing the catcher position in baseball but has always used the gear provided by the baseball league. We wanted to get some practice in over the off season, so we decided to buy him some catchers gear.

The great debate came - should we get new or used?

The new catchers gloves were pretty expensive and would need to get “broken in”, so we opted to find some used gear from an app where people can list their stuff for sale.

We saved a lot of money and the glove is broken in - I would say going used was the way to go this time.
