The seven teams that are in the BPL

There is a rise in the BPL support for Barisal supporters. BPL Governing Council kept the franchise out of the tournament last year due to non-financial conditions. The BCB did not include them in this year's BPL.

Although Barisal were dropped, seven teams played last time in the BPL. Sylhet Sixers came to their place with new ownership and name. Jalal Yunus, head of the Technical Committee of the BPL Governing Council said, "Barisal Bulls will not feel like this anymore. Seven teams will be there as before. We have very little time in hand. Increasing a team will increase the number of matches. The Bangladesh team will leave for New Zealand in February without the end of the upcoming BPL. The tournament will be taller by increasing a new team. Therefore, there is no possibility of Barisal. '

Last time BPL played Comilla Victorians, Dhaka Dynamites, Khulna Titans, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Sixers, Rajshahi Kings and Chittagong Vikings. Rangpur was defeated by Dhaka last year.

This year's BPL will start on January 5. It is already known that the BPL will not be late in the year due to the election of the Jatiya Sangsad. But next BPL will be coming next year? BCB has said that they do not want to host two BPL in one calendar year. The next year will be the BPL only. The next will be in March 2020.
