Dovi Failed to Get Pole

Andrea Dovizioso was delighted to rise from a bad situation on the second day of the Spanish MotoGP. But a mistake resulted in the loss of a start chance in the front row.

Dovizioso had difficulty sharpening his time in free practice sessions. The first exercise did put him in pole position with a best time of one minute 39,268 seconds.

But then the Ducati rider was keen to offset the pace of the rivals. In the second session the best record is still one minute 39,068, whereas Cal Crutchlow became the fastest rider has reached one minute 38.614 seconds. As a result Dovizioso down to sixth position

Dovizioso situation did not improve in the third session or on Saturday (5/5/2018) morning. He was 11th with a best time of one minute 38.511 seconds, aka 0.809 seconds from Marc Marquez in first position.

This slow progression then makes Ducati change strategy toward qualification. Dovizioso called the rate of Desmosedicinya so much better. It's just that a mistake in qualifying makes it fail to start at the forefront.
