Onboard rally video of the day - Gronholm with Peugeot 206 WRC at Mänttä 200 Rally 1999

Today we have double World Rally Champion Marcus Gronholm with super successful Peugeot 206 WRC at Mänttä 200 Rally 1999 in Finland.

Gronholm is a Fiinn so he probably knows that roads from Finnish rally championship very well but in 1999 he just became Peugeot works driver after being privateer with Toyota for years.

Pug 206 WRC brought him two WRC titles - in 2000 and 2002. I must admit I was facinated with dominance of that guy after Tommi Makinen ruled the rallying world from 1996 to 1999.

But what about car?
That 206 WRC is a small car but so well balanced with great Pipo tuned engine with great torque which suited Gronholm better then anyone else at Peugeot at that time.

Delecour, Auriol, Rovanpera, Panizzi brothers, they were all in the car but only Gronholm won two driver's titles.
