Eels score fastest try ever!
All we could say was "OMG" when the home town favourites conceded a try 12 seconds into last night's game at Suncorp - it was the 'fastest try' in the history of 1st Grade Football.
See the footage right here.

The underdogs went on to defeat the $1.26 favourites 52 to 34 in a try scoring bonanza.
The man himself, Semi Radradra, scored 4 tries!
This win against the nearly unstoppable Broncos, has given the Eels fans great hope for a 2017 Premiership.

Congratulations Buggedout and SirKnight - 1 game each.
OK it's getting serious now...
Give me Knight's over the Raiders 20 : 16.
Then I will take Cowboys over Tigers 20 : 16.
Just dropped a few lazy dollars on the Knight's too at $5.75!
SK.
Considering how many crazy upsets have been going on recently that sounds like a pretty decent bet! Good luck with it.
BTW - If you like to have a bet, get onto www.betfair.com I think the Knights were over 7.00 before kickoff. Price is everything.
Hearing you mate - but I had a bonus bet available with another bookmaker. Appreciate the heads-up though.
Fair enough. You've read my intro post so you know I take betting pretty seriously. If you ever need to find a good price or a decent bookie, hit me up. You can get good bonuses if you live in the right state ;)
Raiders 34 - Knights 16
Tigers 28 - Cowboys 24
Lot of points to be scored today methinks. Or maybe I'm just showing recency bias after 86 was scored in last nites crazy game!
Hey buggedout - just for your info mate. Have you come across steemnow yet? It is worth having a look at. https://www.steemnow.com/
Great way to gain an understanding of who is spreading the love and who isn't. ;)
SirKnight however - always spreads the love! Just a loving guy.
Thanks. I have seen steemnow before but I'm still learning the etiquette and conventions of spreading the love on steemit. Let me know if I am getting it wrong pls, 'cos I'm all about the love and I like to get it right :)
We love having you here buggedout. Know this first and foremost. Personally - I hate giving posts less than 50% and try to always award 100% - unless I am running low on SP. Comments - well 10-20-30% depending on the quality. I have never given less than 10%, I don't think. It is ok for Whales to give 1-5% as it is often still worth a decent amount. This is just me though Buggedout and I am certainly no expert in Steemit etiquette.
Ok, thanks for the heads up. I have been trying to keep my VP above 80% (so I can hit big when I need to) and then I'm rationing my upvotes a bit so I can vote more things. Sometimes I vote a post low but then feed the post with upvotes through the comments (like this one). Learning every day though.
GO PARRA!!!!!
Thank you for your post.
Thanks for popping in Shihabieee.
That was one crazy game for sure. During the game they said it was 11 seconds. I've also seen 14 seconds reported. Interestingly the clock was stopped at 19 seconds after the try was scored, so when they take their timing from I'm not quite sure.
Radrada's hattrick in ~14 minutes was also talked about as being the fastest triple too. And even when the Broncos scored, the Eels just looked like doing it so much easier (though they both scored pretty much at will)
Believe it is 12 seconds from kick off to the time the ball was placed down - 19 seconds is probably when the ref blew the whistle. Thanks for popping in ratticus. Love watching Radradra play! CN.
That would be the logical timing system. I imagine it was 11.x that they were saying and it's been rounded up.
They were also talking about some lower grade record being around 8 seconds, which seems almost impossible given how quickly this one happened.
Hi is quite entertaining for sure
