Mesut Ozil will not play against Ostersunds FK
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave bad news before his team against Ostersunds FK on Friday (23/2). Arsenal can not play Mesut Ozil because he is still in pain.
Arsenal will see Ostersunds FK in the second leg of the last 32 of the Europa League. This second leg match will be played at Emirates Stadium. In the first leg match, Arsenal won by a score of 3-0.
Wenger said Ozil was sick since last week, after the first leg match against Ostersunds FK. "Mesut Ozil is still sick until today, Ozil is only in bed on Monday and Tuesday because he is still sick," Wenger said.
What about Ozil playing in the final game of the EFL Cup against Manchester City that will be played on Sunday (25/2) to come?
Wenger still can not be sure. If Ozil is in a healthy condition, then Wenger will definitely play Ozil. But, Wenger still have to wait for the last condition Ozil.
"I will definitely play Ozil, but right now he's still sick and he has to work hard for tomorrow's game and he will not play.He must be fit on Sunday" Wenger said.
