Reasons That Make Rossi Refuse Retirement from MotoGP
Valentino Rossi's age may not be young anymore. However, the mainstay of Yamaha rider is predicted not going to retire in the near future. The reason, The Doctor is obsessed to win the title of the 10th time.
Yes, it is not a secret anymore. Italian veteran racer is indeed very ambitious to win the world title of the 10th time. In the last season, Rossi is having difficulty to realize his dream. Therefore, Yamaha M1 motor does not appear consistently.
Rossi's contract with Yamaha will end in 2018. However, friend Rossi, Alessio Salucci is very confident that the owner of nine world titles will extend the contract with the Japanese manufacturer.
"I hope we will get a new contract extension, maybe a year, but two years will be better," Rossi said, "only 10 hours a day: in the game and using the bike," said Salucci , as reported by Speedweek.
In next February, The Doctor will be 39 years old. Nevertheless, his mentality is not shrinking despite having to deal with a number of riders who have a younger age than himself like Marc Marquez, Andrea Dovizioso, Johann Zarco, and Maverick Vinales. Salucci said Rossi had trained hard to realize his ambition.
"Rossi has given everything. He always looks at what other riders are doing and keeps thinking about how to improve performance. From small to large. He saw all the riders and studied them all. He saw how they moved on the track
