Cristiano Ronaldo was born February 5, 1985 in Funchal on the island of Madeira, he is a Portuguese international footballer.

Born into a poor family, Cristiano Aveiro is the son of Maria Dolores dos Santos and José Dinis Aveiro. His name Cristiano was chosen by his aunt and his middle name, Ronaldo, was given to him by his parents because their favorite actor was Ronald Reagan and president of the United States at that time.
