a footballing genius, quick at his feet and known for his eyes for goals,undoubtedly one of the best forwards to grace the games at modern times.
but his remarkable footballing talent has been overshadowed by a number of controversies that have tarnished his legacy.
Not only has Suarez been accused of being a 'diver' in his career, the former Liverpool player has also hit the headlines for more severe reasons: such as when he was found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra in 2011.Such antics mean that after his retirement he will probably be known more so for his poor behaviour on the pitch rather than his for his extraordinary footballing ability.

The 30-year-old has previously not opened up about the incident, but he has now revealed that he thought his actions that day may have ruined any chance of a dream move to Barcelona.
Speaking to Barcelona teammate Gerard Pique for The Players' Tribune, Suarez said: "After that - after I did it - I realised immediately.
"We score our goal a few minutes after, I think it’s about 10 minutes after when [Diego] Godín scores, and I don’t celebrate it as much as I usually would - the way everyone else celebrated it - because I was already thinking about the aftermath.

then Pique asks whether he thought the incident would cause his Barcelona move to fall through, Suarez replied: "Yes, yes.
"Because it was everything - in addition to thinking about the World Cup, and being able to fulfil my dream to come here to Barça - everything had gone overboard for me."
