Chelsea set to sign new keeper
Chelsea are set to sign 38-year-old former England international, Rob Green from Huddersfield Town.
Green moved to Huddersfield last August but failed to make a single appearance under manager, David Wagner.
His contract at the the club expired this summer.
The Sun, UK, reports that the 38-year-old goalkeeper who was considering retirement following his frustrating spell at Huddersfield, will join Chelsea on a free transfer ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
According to the newspaper, Green will sign a one-year deal with the Blues to serve as the third goalkeeper.
Young goalkeepers, Jamal Blackman and Eduardo have both been sent out on loan this summer and Maurizio Sarri has been on the hunt for a third-choice keeper at the club.
The Englishman has made 658 first-team appearances over the course of his 19-year career.
He also earned 12 England caps before retiring from international football in 2012.
