[Champions League] Andreas Iniesta ready to face Chelsea

Barcelona captain Andreas Iniesta has already started training with his teammate. Reporting from Football-Espana on Monday (12/3), Barcelona have made preparations to face English club Chelsea in the second leg of the Champions League last 16, at Camp Nou, on 15 March.

"Iniesta training together with the team on today's session," Barcelona wrote on the official social media Twitter account of the club on Monday (12/3).

Iniesta suffered an injury and played just 34 minutes when Barcelona faced Atletico Madrid last week. In a match that was held at the Camp Nou, Barcelona managed to win the game 1-0 through Lionel Messi free kick.

In the game, Iniesta experienced a hamstring injury on his right foot. The 33-year-old was out when his side beat Malaga 2-0. Previously, he is rumored to not be fully recovered in the face of Chelsea later.

But today Iniesta is reported to have started training. Reportedly he is also ready to play when facing Antonio Conte's team.

If Iniesta can not be played, then coach Ernesto Valverde can play Andre Gomez. Ousmane Dembele also predicted to be re-played after showing good performance against Malaga.
