LONDON (Reuters) - Chelsea beat champions Burnley 3-2 on Saturday at Stamford Bridge in the opening round of the Premier League.

The match saw the expulsion of players from Chelsea, due to violent interventions, where Gary Cahill was discharged in the 14th minute, and Cesc Fabregas in the 81st minute.

Burns scored two goals from Sam Fox in the 24th and 43th minutes and Stephen Ward, 39, while Alvaro Murata scored 69 minutes and David Luiz 88.

Chelsea entered his usual 3-3-3 campaign, but he appeared to be influenced by the absence of many stars like Eddin Hazard, Pedro Rodriguez, Pacayoko and Victor Moses, as well as Diego Costa.

Antonio Conte, the Blues coach, pushed Pacheco to the expense of Murata, who sat on the bench.

On the other hand, Burnley entered the match with a 4-5-1 lineup, with a clear tactical discipline, especially in defense.

The start of the meeting was characterized by the acquisition of Chelsea on the ball and the preparation of the back lines, amid the block of players Burnley in the back.

In the 14th minute, Chelsea captain Gary Cahill was sent off after a reckless intervention by Stephane Deporte to see the red card directly in the face of England.

Conte, then a change by Jeremy Puja and defender Andreas Christensen, turned Chelsea's plan into a 5-3-1, with the two backers in attack.

Bernstein's coach, Chen Deach, gave clear instructions for the attack, especially the one that made the difference during the first half.

Burnley came in the 24th minute through Sam Fox, who took advantage of Matthew Luton's cross, to score in the net, amid poor surveillance from Chelsea defender David Louise.

The first goal shot saw five Burnley players inside the box, during Luton's cross-section in the best embodiment of how guests benefited from the numerical disadvantage of the hosts.

Stephen Ward, back in the 39th minute, made it one of the most impressive words of Chelsea's players, with a powerful shot from goalkeeper Tibo Curtua.

FOX scored his second goal and the third for his team from a superb header in the 43rd minute, after a perfect cross from his teammate Devour, in a new shot showing how far Louise failed to watch the Burnley striker.

In the second half, Chelsea appeared better despite the numerical shortage, taking advantage of Burnley's defense to keep his lead in the lead.

Marcus Alonso threatened to hit Burnley with a shot in the 49th minute before returning from a free-kick with a free kick, but Tom Highton, Burnley's goalkeeper, managed to keep them away.

The substitute Murata managed to score the first goal of the Blues from a superb header, following a cross sent by Brazilian Willian in the 69th minute.

In the 73rd minute, Craig Bousson canceled a goal for Chelsea defender Christensen to touch his shot.

Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas was sent off in the 81st minute after the second yellow card was announced for his violent intervention against Jack Cork to complete the game with nine players.

David Luiz reduced the score to Chelsea after receiving a superb head pass from Murata, making him alone with Burnley's keeper to put it in the net with a shot in the 88th minute, ending the game with a 3-2 loss.
