[DTM]: Top moments of the season 2019.

Hello! Season 2019 turned out to be so-called intermediate. R-Motorsport took the place of the Mercedes that left after last season, which provided four Aston Martin Vantage for participation in DTM races. In addition to the new producer in the new season, we saw quite a few newcomers to the series: Jonathan Aberdeen, Sheldon Van der Linde, Jake Dennis, Ferdinand Von Hubsburg, as well as Pietro Fittipaldi (grandson of Emerson Fittipaldi). Aston Martin from the first races on Hockenheim showed his instability. Already in the first race, the team lost two cars. In the second race, things were better and one of the cars even made it to the top 10 thanks to the skill of Paul Di Resta. But at Zolder Aston again lost two cars in both races. In all subsequent stages, at least one car in one of the races R-Motorsport lost. And the results were far from ideal: sixth place in the second race in Zolder and sixth place in the first Norisring race - these are the best results.

Well, the Audi team undoubtedly became the leader among manufacturers, BMW was a worthy competitor, but too often Audi pilots occupied the entire podium in races. The championship was essentially played between the pilots of the team from Ingolstadt - Rene Rast and Nico Muller, where the more experienced Rene Rast prevailed, having regained the title after a season. Marco Wittmann made a worthy competition for Audi pilots and took third place, eventually falling behind the second place by 48 points. Rene Rast won the title ahead of schedule, at the Nürburgring, for one stage before the end of the championship. The final at the Hockenheimring was essentially a formality, but the organizers were able to attract the attention of the public - Super GT pilots took part in the races on Hockenheim, including the champion of the series - Jenson Button. Rainy weather added drama to the races and could not stop the fans from enjoying the season finale.
