Splinterlands: How-to always remember & reuse your best card combos: the quick & dirty way

in #splinterlands5 years ago (edited)

Hello Splinterlands Community!

I play this awesome game for around four months now & I'm really hooked on it - I can tell you. You can meet me in the top100 regulary. After reading so many good articles that helped me a lot to improve my playing style I want to give something useful back to you the community.

I figured out a way to remember my most successful card combinations and recall them whenever I need to. To be able to do that I created a simple table for every ruleset and manacap in Evernote. Almost every time I play I use a split screen to navigate quickly to a corresponding card combo and reuse it.

In total there are actually 1890 possible splinter-ruleset-manacap combinations (5 splinter * 18 manacap niveous * 21 rulesets). For every single one there is one cell in my table. As I continue to play I fill them with successful card combos (not only my own, e.g. If I lose I often pickup the card combo of the match winner). My goal is to have at least one successful card combo for every possible splinter-ruleset-manacap specification. Despite my tables are yet only filled partially I already noticed a huge improvement in my game!
So try it out on your own and tell me about your experiences and what you think about it!

If you like this article please give me an upvote and comment :).This is my first article on Splinterlands, if I can get some feedback and enough readers I will continue to write more: e.g. while I'm collecting card combinations, I noticed some super-combos which is a topic on its own I'd like to write about in possible next articles.

So now try it out on your own!
Here is a public link of an Evernote notebook I created as a template with all rulesets you can use to create your own personal-best-combo-journal! You can simply implement it into your own Evernote account.

hehehe :D

Hi, Christian!
I saw your post on Splinterland's Telegram and instantly followed your link here.
I play this game for 102 days (yes, this morning i saw this stat on my profile), I play sparingly. Slowly, but sure, I'm hooked!
Now, I begin to develop strategies and formulas, then I saw your post!

Nice job! I like the info even though it is more than I can handle... I think many will use it to do something similar... I know several of our people in Team Possible were looking at it, so thanks for sharing it!!! :)
