Grumpy Dwarf is one good melee backup which I consider as one effective monster. It has Reach skill which is very useful as a backup while and not just that, this monster is very solid even at its Level 1. It has 1 melee attack, 1 armor, and 2 health which can also consider as a backup frontline.

If you manage to level it up to Level 5, you can unlock Enrage skill which can increase its melee attack if ever it will get damaged. Decent attack speed and defensive attributes, I think you could use him as one of your melee monsters especially when you needed someone to defend those weaker allies at the back.

In this battle, there will be two battle modifiers for this. First, only monsters that do have 4 mana costs or less can be used in this battle while those who have lower attack speed will able to attack first. With this, we need to choose wisely to which monsters we will use in battle.

In my frontline, I use Spineback Turtle as I know that this monster can efficiently defend while my counterpart is Crystal Jaguar which has also armor and good health points. In my second position, I choose to use Grumpy Dwarf as I know that it can attack at the back, and at the same time whenever there is in need of emergency frontline, Grumpy Dwarf can immediately come up to the rescue.

On the enemy side, Silvershield Warrior has a good melee attack and health, and especially its armor is much thicker plus his summoner can also add up additional armor to its existing one.

In my third position, is Crustacean King which serves as my healer while on the enemy side he placed Feral Spirit which has good damage also. Its Sneak ability can be a threat to my monsters especially when I'm placing my weaker monsters at the back.

In the fourth position, I put Medusa as my Magic damage dealing so I could still able to deal with direct damage ignoring enemy armors. On the enemy side, two magic type monsters, Elven Mystic and Divine Healer which is a big risk for my monsters as most of them are in lesser life points.

I also use two range type monsters which I think can do great also the Pirate Captain and Naga Windmaster while my enemy uses Peacebringer for his ranged type monster.

My Line Up

Grumpy Dwarf is my main cast for this battle as I know that he can portray the needed support as it has good defensive attributes.

Spineback Turtle will serve as my primary frontline as it has a good life point and 2 armor. It has a low attack speed, it can surely attack first before his Crystal Jaguar.

In the third position, I use Crustacean King to help support my monsters with their healing ability. Putting him in this position will possibly secure him from being targetted.

Medusa is a good magic attack type monster in which I prefer her to join the team.

Naga Windmaster can really be useful as it has a decent attack plus its debuffing skill that could limit enemy range attack capacity.

And lastly, Pirate Captain can help me target those range or magic that is not in the first position.

The Battle

At the start of Round 1, my Water Summoner boosts the magic attack of my Medusa while my enemy Summoner adds additional armor to its monsters. And after that my Naga Windmaster decreases the range attack of Peacebringer which helps me suppressed the power of its range type monster.

My Spineback Turtle receives tremendous damages but still standing which is great while I manage to weaken its Crystal Jaguar which receives a combination of damages from all of my monsters.

My Spineback Turtle receives healing effects from my Crustacean King which keeps him alive and kicking on the battlefield. My Spineback Turtle initiates the attack which eliminates his Crystal Jaguar at the start of Round 2.

At the near end of Round 2, my Pirate Captain was easily defeated by Feral Spirit which now starts to weaken my range attacks.

Thankfully my Grumpy Dwarf just manage to eliminate Silvershield Warrior which now starts to weaken enemy frontlines. My Spineback Turtle cannot anymore withstand the attacks in which Feral Spirit takes the advantage and eliminates him. After the replacement of the frontline, my Grumpy Dwarf made instant revenge killing the last melee type of my enemy.

I then manage to suppress the remaining enemy monsters and defeated them all.

My Analysis

My Spineback Turtle helps to withstand the full damages coming from enemy monsters while receiving some assistance from my Crustacean King, making its longevity in battle. Another thing Grumpy Dwarf help protect the backup monsters which I am really thankful for or else I will lose the battle.
