Stories That'll Change the Way You Perceive Life
Inspirational stories that are very good to read. The fantastic thing about them is that they are very straightforward to follow and digest, and there is always the moral to learn at the end of the story. Whether they are true or not is another thing, as many of them are legends from hundreds of years ago. However, the short stories below are very inspiring and powerful so they really make you think.
The Group of Frogs
A group of frogs flew across the forest when two of them fell into a deep hole. When the other frogs saw how deep the hole was, they told the two frogs that there was no hope left for them.
However, the two frogs ignored their colleagues and kept trying to jump out of the hole. However, despite their efforts, the group of frogs above the hole still says that they have to give up because they will never get out.
Finally, one of the frogs watched what the other said and he surrendered, jumping deeper into his death. The other frogs keep jumping as hard as they can. Again, the group of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and die.
He ignores them, and jumps harder and ultimately succeeds. When he came out, another frog said, "Did you not hear us?"
The frog explained to them that he was deaf, and that he thought they were pushing him all the time.
The moral of the story: The words of a person can have a profound effect on the lives of others. Therefore, you should think about what you will say before coming out of your mouth - maybe just the difference between life and death.
The Obstacle in Our Path
In ancient times, a king ordered his men to place stones on the highway. He then hid in the bushes, and watched to see if anyone would move the big rock out of the way. Some merchants and the king's richest king's palace passed by and walked around it.
Many people blame the King for not keeping the way clear, but none of them do anything to get rid of the stone.
One day, a farmer came with vegetables. As he approached the stone, the farmer put his load and tried to push the stone out of the way. After much pushing and trying, he finally succeeded.
After the farmer returns to pick up his vegetables, he sees a wallet lying on the street where the rock is located. The wallet contained many gold coins and a note from the King explained that the gold was for the man who removed the boulder from the road.
The moral of the story: Every obstacle we encounter gives us the opportunity to improve our situation, and while lazily complains, others create opportunities through the heart of kindness, generosity, and willingness to accomplish something.
