I get caught up in the mindset that I haven't developed my argument well enough and lose track of how much I write. I've had to go back and insert paragraph breaks- some wind up being 3 pages long lol!

Nothing to be sorry about... I've just had much better days recently (and this post took a lot of time and thought). It seems that the more I put into a post, the less it pays. I made almost as much on that pic I posted almost by mistake trying to change my profile pic lol!
I'll certainly remember what you said.
As for the time and thought, I poured my heart into one of my early posts and it got me two cents. An early hazing.
I've had the same thing happen to me... hopefully those days are over!
They are. Once you become a well-known quantity, you're bankable. Just as true on Steemit as it is in the regular pundit world.
Also, when your payouts are regular, you attract "strategic voters" who are after curation rewards by getting ahead of a whale or orca.
I wish they'd hit me today. I gave away more than I made today. I figure I'll get about 6-7 SBD and I gave out 10. I have some people I support financially.
