## Practicing Gratefulness like

Steemit has added a lot of value to my life lately and I have to practice gratefulness to appreciate all the beauty this amazing platform has given me. One of the best ways to practice the art of being grateful is to embrace the sign of Pisces. Pisces is ruled by the planet Neptune in astrology and Neptune represents creativity, spirituality, drugs, escapism, being a martyr, and a humanitarian. Ideally, Pisces would be the kind of person who holds no prejudice against any race or subject. Allow me to explain better by showing my gratitude for this amazing social media platform.

When I first heard of steemit I was trying to make money online by any means necessary. I had wasted literally hundreds of thousands of dollars. I had no clue how I wanted to make money online I just knew that I wanted to escape the rat race of working 9-5 hours. In 2016 I planted my feet firmly in the ground on my niche (personal development) and I built a website around it. I told myself I am going to make it on my own, no more affiliate marketing. However, in 2017 things did not get any better although I still had my website I was not making a dime with it. So as you can imagine I was pretty depressed and I even had suicidal thoughts. I had been on this online journey for the past 4 years and I was flat broke.

Enter 2018 and my introduction to steemit which I heard about in 2016 but did not jump on the opportunity to join because I didn’t think it was worth it. I joined February 8 2018 and although I’m not the most consistent writer here I think I have written a fair bit for being on steemit for a few months. I have learned a lot and now I implement steemit every day or every other day. It has become a part of my routine and dare I say it a part of my life at this point. Let me list the ways steemit has changed my life so far and why I am enamored with it.

• steemit has allowed me to connect with an amazing community

• my creativity has flourished since joining the steem community

• I am usually always able to find new ways of adding value to my posts

• there are constantly new services being added to steem

• everything from trading cards, YouTube, Quora, Twitch, Kickstarter & more!

• I have developed the ability to blog straight from my phone.

• I have over 200 followers and I’m making a name for myself on social media

• my website which was dead is now being revived because of steemit.

• I may be able to integrate SMT’s into my website and kickstart an era for me.

• I feel like I have made new friends since joining.

• steemit is the only social media website I consider worth my time

And these are all the reasons among many others that I appreciate steemit. And I am grateful to ned and the amazing team who created this life-changing platform. So if you want to practice gratefulness try to be like a Pisces.
