How is my question a misdirection ? Did I not answer your first question I this thread? I then asked a relevant question of you regarding Timothy and his being circumsized, which you brought up to prove that Paul was still Pro- circumcision. My comment and question regarding Timothy's life and timing of his circumcision are directly related to our conversation about Paul's understanding of circumcision. besides, when I ask a question, I support it and my line of reasoning with commentary. Please give me your line of reasoning why not being circumsized in the wilderness had any baring on thw question of Timothy's timing of his circumcision.
you stated that if Timothy knew the scriptures from his youth as it says in the scriptures then why wasn't he circumcised beforehand to which I replied Israel had the the Torah and Moses in the wilderness and yet they did not circumcised either so if you can find the answer to why Timothy he wasn't circumcised then you should also be able to find the answer to why they didn't circumcise but the answer is not clear in scripture hence you are going on speculation.
