Often time, what someone else does or says that triggers us, that “thing” has a root in us.. it’s just an aspect of ourselves we have not confronted yet.
If that root wasn’t in us, we wouldn’t be triggered in the first place.
Emotional intelligence is the tell-tale sign of a leader, and your ability to not only recognize your own emotional landscape, but gently guide others through their’s will say a bunch about you.
