Why it sometimes is smart to shut the door and close yourself up!

in #spiritual7 years ago

Greetings everyone!

Has been a while!

So what is this piece about, well i am going to chat a bit about why it sometimes is better to take a break, yet you do not stop working hard towards your future!

Sometimes by physically doing nothing and giving ourselves the space to deal with our mental and emotional issues, can help us revive ourselves from all the stress and chains that holds us back.

In my field of Life Coaching, i personally find it important to understand how people act and why they act like they think is efficient or works for them and/or if that truly works or if it an reaction from a unconscious wounded side of their personality.

(let's say some people actually get their best idea from standing outside and smoke a bit, even if it is unhealthy directly for the body, if they get divine inspiration or a way to cope and heal from a situation and you actually see good improvements, than the danger of that bit of smoking is not that bad.

But if you chain smoke like a boss to deal with something, it becomes negative and part of the unconscious wounded side of the personality and a projection or expression of it, this makes one heavy difference between the two).

This same rule applies to eating, drugs etc etc. I never recommend though for people using things that are bad for their body, but in moderate amounts certain things can be used as positive triggers to help people go beyond or resolve certain trauma's, everyone is different and have a different way to go around it.

But closing yourself up like a hermit completely as in being in a dark cave or your own abyss time after time after time to deal with issues.

Even make yourself being so insanely bored that your ego cannot handle with the issues and forcing yourself to go through it, the ego makes everything pop up what has been stuck step by step.

This is my best way with dealing with these kind of issues, making myself so insanely bored that the ego cannot do anything else then create drama to give excitement and finding the route where it comes from help you to dive in emotions, pains, trauma's, but also move beyond it!

Without the use of any substance just using time as your teacher! Just being bored to overcome your trauma's and issues, because you have litterly nothing else to do!

It is as if you are in deep meditation and your ego tries to keep contact and is afraid to die, so it brings up as much as possible. Going beyond it means helping yourself to reach a deeper state of being yourself, while the ego sees it as death.

The boredom i am talking about it comparable, doing nothing till you get completely crazy, this is for me personally the way to go, because i am the type of guy that never stops being busy or doing something.
So doing something the complete opposite or using my shadow to reach a deeper treasure!

At this point, what is your opposite of one of your strongest traits?
Why are you afraid of using that trait that you perceive as negative to reach a deeper state of being?

So another great example:

You do not love yourself
Start finding your way to love yourself even if it feels egocentric!

What are the changes you experience as a person?

What if you are normally listening and passive
Now changing it around and you are doing the talking and become active even if you are afraid to act blindly?

Instead of using strategy, using faith and a deeper knowing!

We are everything that we want ourselves to be, we are not and never just stuck in one role!
We are like water!

Find the opposite of what you are and find out that you are also that opposite!

Good luck!

Love yourself!
Love others!
Love your shadow, your anima(animus) and their darker sides!

Just love!
