RE: How to get lucid dreams - some practical methods

in #spiritual6 years ago (edited)

Lucid dreams are an amazing feat and are indeed tough at first to get your head in. There's a popular technique that I use where you wake up in the middle of the night and keep your body calm enough to fall back asleep, but with your mind focusing on all of the background visuals that come into view.

You want to look at the patterns and thoughts, but not stress yourself paying attention to them. And after a while you feel a sudden quietness and those images begin to envelop your visual space until well, you're in :)

By the way, can you tell me if the banner presented below needs work or not? I'm trying out something new...

Yes, good method also, thanks for sharing this ) I also tried Carlos Castaneda methods described in his books, one of them trying to find your hands (or another easy to find, familiar object) in your dream. The banner looks good, it is simple to read and states the point clearly. I'd probably click ))

Oh did that work? And awesome nice to know. :)

Yes, it worked, but not at the first try.
I actually just registered there, on your forum. But I couldn’t fill out the steemit username field because it doesn’t allow using “-“

Aha, that's been noted, thank you!

A lot of techniques take more than one go to do. I think we tend to think of ourselves as the ultimate master of our bodies, yet we play so close to the edge of our awareness that I've had people tell me they blacked out and forgot they were ever doing a technique
