Rishikesh in India is the spiritual City situated in the Uttarakhand state of India. I was visiting Rishikesh for the first time. Before that my friend has visited it long back nearly 10 years ago. It narrated the beauty of rishikesh so nicely that I forced to visit it.

Rishikesh is a vibrant spiritual City.It has a Ganges river flowing in its full capacity.The Hills around the Ganges river make it so attractive.The hanging bridge in river ganges is so famous that you will find people stop there and take selfie overlooking ganges river.

As I am visiting Rishikesh first time I have a fear that what type of people I will meet. However when we met Rishikesh people, they are so sweet and they have a friendly behaviour with everyone.They behave as if you are a family member.

The most attractive thing in Rishikesh is the awesome ganges river that flow widely. It has a pure water. You can clearly see inside it. When you see the Ganges river,it seems to call you with his sound. When first morning sun rays falls on Ganges,the beauty of ganga increases so much.Mother ganges is inseparable part of rishikesh people life.Their day start with worshiping the ganges.

Rishikesh has a many spiritual center or ashram. Parmarth Ashram is one of them. It has a staying facility for the guest and tourist.It houses a good restaurant where you can taste all Indian dishes.In this Ashram students are taught about vedic culture, discipline. Student study Vedic literature and shastras.They stidyall rites and rituals in Vedic Shastra karm kand.
