Google labels 'slow websites'
In the future, website operators may need to be careful with Google Chrome. If your web site opens late, it's possible that you'll get a red label.
Google is testing to identify pages that open and slow open when you visit a website in Chrome. "Speed has been one of Chrome's core principles from the start," Google said in an official blog.
It analyzes the time Chrome takes to load past web pages and identifies web pages designed to open slowly. It not only identifies web site design issues, but also identifies web page load delays based on the device and network used.
Identification methods are under consideration. If the web site opens late, the loading screen may display the message 'Usually loads slow'. If your web page loads slowly, you can also display the loading progress bar in red when you open the page. If it is fast, it is displayed in green.
When Chrome provides a link to a website, it is reportedly considering a way to let the user know ahead of time and decide whether to click if the site is slow.
IT Media TechCrunch predicted that Google's actions would help Google users in emerging markets such as India, where networks are slow and low-end smartphones are widespread. Site owners with a sluggish Web site, the scab, will need to take action to improve the user experience.
