Haru en el Reino de los Gatos (Análisis) / The Cat Returns (Analysis) [ESP/ENG]

Seguimos con los análisis de las películas del estudio Ghibli, este día viene la de "Haru en el Reino de los Gatos" la cual si eres fan de los felinos no te puedes perder, te encantará, así que empecemos.

Haru en el reino de los gatos nos habla sobre una joven que un día al salir de la escuela salva a un felino a punto de ser atropellado por un camión. El felino le promete a nuestra protagonista agradecerle por dicha acción, después de ello se va con prisa ya por tener que hacer sus cosas de gatos. A medianoche, Haru oye un escándalo en la calle, es el mismo rey de los mininos que ha llegado hasta la casa de la joven para ofrecerle llevarla a su reino donde se deberá casar con el gato que salgo previamente, que para su sorpresa resulta ser el príncipe del reino.

Pienso que en esta película el estudio Ghibli se influencio más por la japonesa dicho de un modo bueno, ya que en Japón los felinos son recurrentes en leyendas populares, así como en la misma cultura, por contrario, en occidente la sensación que nos da esta película en cuanto a los elementos que nos presenta hace que nos resulte un poco infantil.

Por lo que, nos postramos ante una película algo infantil, cuyos valores morales, se presentan de una forma algo evidente en comparación de trabajo anteriores. La idea a llegar del film es "sé tú mismo", y esto gracias a que los personajes lo dicen letra por letra numerosas veces.

El dibujo es lo acostumbrado por Ghibli, diseños sencillos, pero con peculiaridades, hermosos escenarios y personajes bien trabajados. Algo que llama bastante la atención, en lo que en cuanto a los gatos nos referimos, podemos notar un gran desempeño en los personajes principales, sin embargo, el resto son como si fueran simples extras a los que solo copiaron y pegaron.

En resumen, la película tiene un poco de menor calidad en comparación de trabajos anteriores, pero su buen cronometraje, por así decirlo, hace que no te aburras ni un momento de ella. Una película que como dije al principio, si eres fan de los gatos no te puedes perder, pero si no, con el simple hecho de ser del estudio Ghibli te llevaras un buen sabor de boca.

I think that in this film the Ghibli studio was influenced more by the Japanese said in a good way, since in Japan the felines are recurrent in popular legends, as well as in the same culture, on the contrary, in the West the sensation that gives us this film in terms of the elements that presents us makes us a bit childish.

Therefore, we prostrate ourselves before a somewhat childish film, whose moral values ​​are presented in a somewhat obvious way compared to previous work. The idea to arrive from the film is "be yourself", and this thanks to the characters saying it letter by letter numerous times.

The drawing is as usual for Ghibli, simple designs, but with peculiarities, beautiful settings and well-worked characters. Something that catches quite the attention, as far as the cats are concerned, we can notice a great performance in the main characters, however, the rest are as if they were simple extras that only copied and pasted.

In summary, the film has a little lower quality compared to previous works, but its good timing, so to speak, does not get bored even a moment of it. A film that as I said at the beginning, if you are a fan of cats you can not miss, but if not, with the simple fact of being from the Ghibli studio you will get a good taste in your mouth.
