Transhumanismo y la Evolución Cibertecnológica hacia los Seres del Futuro
Esta filosofía propone modificar el cuerpo de las personas con manipulación genética, nanotecnología, cibernética, inteligencia artificial, clonación y robótica hasta llegar a los post-humanos .
Eternamente joven, poderes sobrehumanos, vida eterna… Los transhumanistas aspiran a que los nuevos seres humanos se ajusten al nuevo orden mundial. El progreso tecnológico debe permitir la supuesta optimización de nuestra especie y llevarnos de vuelta al paraíso, aseguran.
La rebelión del pueblo contra el Creador y nuestras propias limitaciones, son una constante. En esta batalla, intentamos domar a la naturaleza y manipularla para satisfacer nuestros deseos.
El transhumanismo moderno empieza a reemplazar los antiguos mitos. Adán y Eva no pudieron resistir la tentación y comieron del árbol prohibido del conocimiento, lo que les valió ser expulsados del paraíso. Ícaro, el protagonista de la antigua leyenda griega, con sus alas provisionales voló tan cerca del sol que así encontró la muerte. La torre de Babel, el monstruo de Frankenstein, el Golem de la mitología judía o la figura de Prometeo, se refieren al mismo sueño: convertirnos en SUPER HOMBRES, en creadores; y si no es posible ser Dios, al menos, llegar a tener su misma condición.
¿Estamos a punto de hacer realidad tales mitos?
