I am no professional photographer, but with my experience as an writer(or atleast one making an attempt to be haha) the simplest things around you which at first look might have no clue can offer great creative and artistic stimulation if you really spend a minute on it.
It sure is. Sometimes you just have to take a closer look at something to get inspired, in the case of photography and I agree that you have to take a look around searching for that special spot.
