Datos Curiosos | ¿Cristobal Colón en Portugal?
¿Sabían que Cristobal Colón estuvo en Madeira, Portugal? Pues si, y hasta vivió un tiempo en Funchal en 1498. Esta pequeña pero linda plaza lleva su nombre en homenaje a que vivió en una casa ubicada en este sector.
Hoy en día es llamada en honor a Colón "Praça Colombo" aunque también es conocida como "Praça Amarela" por ser el amarillo el color predominante de la zona. 💛
Actualmente es una zona muy colorida y llena de turistas y residentes de Funchal, debido a los pequeños restaurantes y cafés que con sus toldos adornan entre flores y colores amarillos esta bella plaza.
¿Qué les ha parecido esta pequeña curiosidad? ¿Ya conocían este dato de Madeira? A mi me ha encantado, intentaré compartirles muchos más datos curiosos e historias increíbles que he vivido en Portugal. ❤
