GEOLOGY AND ITS TRAINING PROCESSES (VENEZUELA)

Hello friends of steemit in this blog I want to make reference on La Geología and its formation processes from a global, regional and local, referring to the geological formations that are in my country Venezuela. There is always the question for many people about which is geology and how it is well constituted here will be clarified many of those doubts.

WHAT IS GEOLOGY

It is the science that is in charge of studying the origin, formation and evolution of the earth, the materials that compose it and its structure. This science is derived from others, which form an important set for the knowledge of the earth, between these sciences are geoscience, geophysics, geodesics, geochemistry and others.

GEOLOGICAL FORMATIONS

They are lithostratigraphic units (composition of strata that determine a formation, it can be formed by sedimentary, igneous or metamorphic rocks or by an association of them), the formations are considered to be the result of millions of years of geological evolution, these constitute the Earth's crust and can be observed in outcrops on the surface.

GEOLOGICAL FORMATIONS IN VENEZUELA

Venezuela has a large set of geological formations, which have been studied to meet all requirements and needs, product of oil exploration was very necessary to know the geology, that is why campaigns were designed scientific studies that allowed us to know our formations and their characteristics, among the formations that can be mentioned is, training callao, training cicapra, training horse training, training cuchivero, training roraima, training beautiful view, training caparo, training mucuchachi, training sabaneta, training palmarito, training the fifth, isnotu formation.

Below are some of these training, referring to its structure as well as its geological characteristics.

TRAINING ROUND TREE

This formation is located in the block of trujillo, located in the Northeast sector of the Andes presents an structural pattern Anticlinal and Sinclinal, product of the result of the compressive forces originated by the tectonic movements, in that formation can be observed the contact between Sedimentary Rocks with Metamorphic Rocks.

THE FIFTH TRAINING

This formation of the Jurassic age is located in the vicinity of the Grita, state Tachira, in it can be seen brick red clasts with conglomeratic sandstones, all this association of rocks originated product of the erosive processes that have occurred in said zone .

ISNOTÚ TRAINING

This formation of Miocene age aflora e slopes surrounding isnotú, this encompasses the Northern Region of the Andes and the South of the Lake of Maracaibo where it is transitional with the Lagunilla formation of the same age. It is formed by red clays and conglomerates at times are fossils, this allows to determine one of the characteristics that conclude that this formation has influence in the exploration of hydrocarbon since these are derived from fossil remains.
