Bithumb, la gran criptobolsa de Corea del Sur, se asocia con BitPay para monopolizar un mercado de '$200 mil millones de dólares.
Un ejecutivo de Bithumb, la mayor bolsa de criptomonedas de Corea del Sur, anunció este 13 de Marzo que se asoció con BitPay para competir en el mercado internacional de remesas.
En declaraciones sobre el acuerdo, el director comercial de BitPay, Sonny Singh, dijo que las empresas ahora podrían convertir facturas en Bitcoin y usar BitPay para liquidarlas de manera más rápida y económica que a través de los canales de envío bancarios convencionales.
Los pagos entre Corea del Sur y Occidente serán una industria de $200 mil millones este año", dijo Sonny Singh.
"En este momento, la gente está haciendo pagos transfronterizos entre Corea del Sur y Occidente, pagando los giros bancarios, las tarifas de FX rondan el 4% y demoran unos cuatro días. Usando Bithumb y BitPay, podremos hacer que esto sea una tarifa del 1% en un día hábil", continuó Singh.
