“Ahora está usted en ese momento en el que tiene que abrirse forzosamente a lo más elevado y difícil del arte: a la captación de lo individual. Tiene que hacerlo de forma violenta a fin de poder escapar de la idea. Dispone del talento necesario y ha progresado ya lo suficiente: ahora “debe” usted hacerlo… …Sé muy bien que es difícil, pero despúes de todo, es en la captación y descripción de lo particular donde palpita la vida del arte. Y además, mientras nos atengamos a lo general, cualquiera podrá imitarnos. Pero lo particular no nos lo podrá copiar nadie. ¿Por qué? Pues porque nadie más lo ha vivido… …Es a esta escala de la representación individual donde empieza lo que llamamos “composición”.
