Some good news.
@deathcross, @zaku, @chbartist havent posted in over a week and they were the biggest bot costumers and abusers on the platform. @majes.tytyty and @hatu got rekt recently so im sure they will get out of Dodge soon enough.
If you make it a big enough risk to buy votes.... people will start to avoid it, vote selling profits will drop and bid bot delegators will take back their delegations.
What is needed is CONSISTENCY which is why i hope this will be a continuous effort and not just a temporary occurrence.

I personally know @majes.tytyty and I consider him to be very valuable user on this platform. I hope you guys wont after him with downvotes.
I dont know about "the guys", i can only speak for myself but if i see him trend with bots again ill flag him for sure.

I would really appreciate if you guys (you and @themarkymark) could put together what/who you are targeting with this rekt list. What is spam and what is abuse of the reward pool?
When I look back at my posts I'm really questioning if some of the stuff that I posted would be considered as spam. For instance I post a bunch of infosec posts (mostly declared as via so and so) on a regular basis because I found it important to raise awareness on infosec and privacy issues.
Would this be considered spam for instance?

No one can control spam if someone has RCs they can post all day. Earning is another thing. If you put up a low-value post and then use bid bots to promote it, that would leave you open to being downvoted. You are 100% in the clear, you don't spam nor do you abuse bid-bots.
When I get the chance I will make sure to make a clear list of who I downvote and for what reasons.

The abuse of bidbots has already damaged the reputation of the community.
Because of New Steem. We didnt have free downvotes before.
