Inside Out/Right side Out
So, we could consider things from the perspective that most of us have been living in an inside-out way for a long time. You know, kind of like when you put your shirt on inside out and then don't even realize it until sometime later in the day (well, it has happened to me on a few occasions).
Another way of putting this is that we only have considered, for example, a vase in a painting, and not the space surrounding the vase. The vase is just a container for the vast space that surrounds it. We can put what we want into the vase, and if we fill that space up completely with continuous thoughts, fear, anger, etc., then there is no room for the negative space, wherein lies Truth.
When we put our shirt on right side out, so to speak, or when we realize that we are actually the space that surrounds the vase and not the vase itself, we get more used to living in stillness.
