Elon Musk: Modern Day Tony Stark
The man is a legend!
Forget Iron Man. Elon Musk is our modern day billionaire techie with copious creativity and unrelenting passions. After making a fortune selling not one but two startups (Zip2 sold for $22M and PayPal sold for $160M) - the guy went on to heavily invest his fortunes into Tesla Motors. As if that wasn't enough, he also founded SpaceX with the grand ambition to colonize Mars! By recycling his rockets, costs have been cut by over 60% averaging a little over $90M compared to the hundreds of millions it cost NASA to ship the same payload. It's quite ingenious really... Back to the grandiose ideas... If you follow the news as much as I do you'll remember that after a couple of years of running tests his spacecraft (above), SpaceX recently announced plans to send a car into space! And not just ANY car, it had to be a Tesla and it had to come from Elon Musk's personal garage. Because lets face it, he has the cheese, the ship, and the car to boot.
