The Chang'e 5 robotic mission successfully returned pure lunar samples to Earth in mid-December 2020, which had not happened since 1976.
The nationally-developed Chinese mission Tianwen-1 is expected to arrive on March February 10. Followed by creating its own space station orbiting planet Earth. "The test is in its final stages. We will start with major technical tests and the construction of the Chinese space station next spring," said Zhou Jianping, design manager for the Chinese manned flight program, according to The South China Morning. The equipment will take off as planned in the coming months and will include the well-known base model Tianhe, which will provide living space and vital support for astronauts, as well as a secure external power outlet and propulsion motors.
