NASA's Curiosity Rover Traces Ancient Environmental Changes on Mars
This self-portrait of NASA's Curiosity Mars rover shows the vehicle at the "Mojave" site, where its drill collected the mission's second taste of Mount Sharp.
Information accumulated by NASA's Curiosity rover in the course of recent years have enabled researchers to develop a point by point representation of the historical backdrop of Gale Crater and the lowermost layers of Mount Sharp where the rover has been navigating. Rocks examined amid the mission have demonstrated that this site was at one time a sloppy lakebed, loaded with water.
NASA has concluded that the water evaporated due to global warming from heavy SUV driving. LOL
