An Introduction to the UFO Phenomena

in #south-africa6 years ago

Very often I am asked by friends who know of my interest in the UFO phenomena, “Why do you believe in the reality of UFO’s?” I usually try and answer them to the best of my ability. UFO’s don’t automatically mean aliens visiting us from elsewhere, it simply means an unidentified aerial object.

If I have to lay out my case I would have to put certain facts on the table. UFO’s have been sighted far back in time with accounts of aerial objects been seen before balloon or powered flight was around. During the second world war they were called foo fighters and were seen by pilots keeping pace with their planes and shooting off at tremendous speed performing right angled turns or stopping and accelerating with maneuvers that would have been impossible for any human pilot with current technology.

After the Trinity atom bomb test on the 16th of July 1945, the sightings of UFO’s increased dramatically. I believe that at that time we had harnessed the power of the atom and had also taken into our hands the power to destroy our species and perhaps even doom our planet to a holocaust of our own making. Could it be that we attracted the attention of alien species that had been watching our development for some time?
On July the 8th 1947, the Airforce issued a statement that the wreckage of a UFO had been found on a ranch near Roswell, New Mexico. The Airforce quickly changed their story that it had been a crashed weather balloon. Since then they have revised their story many times. It was a Top Secret Mogul balloon later they added crash test dummies when reports of alien bodies began to surface.

There has been an incredible amount of disinformation about this incident and it is no wonder that it has been difficult for the public to separate fact from fiction. I personally have studied this case off and on for the last 20 years and firmly believe that this was no crashed balloon.
Believers’ in UFO’s are ridiculed as conspiracy theorists. It is interesting to note that the term “Conspiracy Theorist” was a term coined by the CIA. I will quote Paul Craig Roberts of the Institute for Political Economy. “In 2013 Professor Lance Dehaven-Smith in a peer-reviewed book published by the University of Texas Press showed that the term “conspiracy theory” was developed by the CIA as a means of undercutting critics of the Warren Commission’s report that President Kennedy was killed by Oswald. The use of this term was heavily promoted in the media by the CIA.https://www.amazon.com/Conspiracy-Theory-America-Discovering/dp/0292757697/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1471971025&sr=1-1&keywords=Conspiracy+Theory+in+America
It is ironic that the American left is a major enforcer of the CIA’s strategy to shut up skeptics by branding them conspiracy theorists.”

I meant this article to be a short overview of the UFO topic but I will have to break it up into more manageable segments, so watch this space if the subject interests you.

Good that you and others post about this things, many of my articles are about the same topic and other conspiracies.
