TO LOVE AND BE LOVED
Have you ever seen some love poems or short love quotes and wondered how the authors of such came about what they wrote....?
I mean how someone could love another person so much in the way it was expressed in what was written...
Sometimes the expression amazes you how the writer could give or could have been so lucky to have received such love........
if you have ever been real, perhaps sometimes you would wish it was you (either the lover or the loved)
Truly, there had been great love stories and several love episodes that has been and would still be.
But one clearer truth i do see in most case is that
no matter the length, breadth, depth or height of such affection or romance,
THOSE PEOPLE CHOSE TO BE WHAT THEY WERE TO LOVE.
IT WAS A DELIBERATE AND A LIFELONG PURSUIT.
I was one day under a ministration of pastor Odidiomo and i heard him boast plenty things in love: deep romantic things, his great love n care, and the most intruiging part is the unflinching loyalty and fidelity, etc....and the beautiful part is, his wife was there (you can even see her smiles or soft giggles when the pastor always recount his expressions of love n care to his wife).....Mehn, i thought i was loving and romantic but trust me
But even I, did fell in love with the pastor's devotion n service to his wife.
And while i went home with that encounter, programming it for an upgrade within me.....i knew it wouldn't be magical to just want it.....I had to make it happen in me.
That is what it takes to love, to make love work.
The decision to love and be a love being is made long before an object of love will ever show up
Love takes more effort than hate....a single post or picture art is enough to prepare your mind to hurt someone next morning but it takes a daily healing and choice to keep being a love being.
Love can truly work....its the only chance left now to sustain our hurting n dying world and the best part is, it sure is Possible....don't give it all up
