Sonic Mania - First hour feeling

Hi guys,

Quick review of my first hour feeling about Sonic Mania, out now on PS4, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch.
I have bought the collector of the Switch version, and here my first impressions.

After what we've seen in the trailer, where signs were showing that this Sonic Mania was being considered as Sonic 4, I can confirm that this game is the best Sonic-game since Sonic 3.

For sure, there is a lot of Fan Service with almost the same first level, with the same soundtrack than in Sonic 1, Eggman is there and most importantly, Tails is still lagging behind Sonic with a lot of delay.

The feeling hands-on is quite good and really is close to what we knew in previous episodes. For a moment, I had the feeling that it was not my Nintendo Switch on my hands but a Game Gear... which is quite an achievement.

Graphics are exactly the same than in time, do not expect anything else than a deep respect from the first episodes. But it works quite good honestly, even though on biggest resolutions TVs it might be a bit more aggressive than with the console in handled mode.
