How to Remember more of Dreams

Notebook being probably the number one tool in cultivating the conscious interaction with dreams. First thing is to make it a point to remember them first thing in the morning, prior, ideally, to even moving from or around in bed. Keeping the journal next to the bed and making a resolution to be in the dreams, all else that's needed is the time and discipline in the morning.

I rarely cry in waking life. More often in dreams. A few weeks ago, there were these two people playing music in the subway stations. Each was playing a droning instrument. One string, maybe. The other was blowing into a long, painted PVC pipe. They were strangers to one another. Their instruments played two notes that created a perfect harmony with each other. I sat between them and was overcome. Feeling the perfect vibrations. Tears streaming down my face.

Another thing is to write in the present. Not, "it was", but "it is". This puts you back in the dream. Write from the perspective of being in it. The more often we do this, the more we remember. We cultivate or re-cultivate the skill.
